Showing off my flash dance/fame moves in legendary NYC.

Festival skies in paradise

I have my woman card and I know how to use it.

Something pretty to look at - inspired by vintage baubles.

Isn’t every year Cookie time? Love the pink nose on this bun bun.

This is one of my favorite quotes of all time. I really love the added colors and textures to create the mood.

If you know who Rhoda is, I love you already. Everything I learned in life, I saw on TV. And this lady was a huge influence.

An experiment with color, shapes and textures.

The colors!!! The shine!

I got a thing going on here. Top right are two scarves I made with original surface designs.

Ninety-five percent of my work is created from recycled and up-cyled materials. I created this little dress from an old blouse that I could no longer wear. This piece gives me the nostalgic feels.

My best girl and forever true love. Inspirational, always.

Simple beauty in the quiet corners.

I always save my sketches. Here they are layered in my sketchbook between subdued acrylic paints, tissue paper and marker.

I love these cut swatches of fabric. The organic lines, the textures, the folds. Swoon.

The neon lights! But, the faded colors! How can this be?

I can taste these clouds. Can’t you?

It’s just so crunchy and delicious. Under the layer of gesso are the brightest colors you can imagine.

I like a lot of “stuff.” And gold. And shiny things.

Selections from my Fall 2015 Art Journals.

I’ve got about fifty of these completed journals, and they are so precious to me.

I love handmaking cards for friends and loved ones. Portable art is the best.

It’s the only way!

Yes please.

Cut paper, sharpie, paint, sequins, ephemera.

Boy, my dad was a nerd. But I won a contest with this drawing! My first major award!

I often incorporate hand painted touches, fiber work and dimensional objects into my art journals. Here’s one of my faves from early on.

The golden hour is my favorite.

The pink mug makes an appearance in many of my process shots. Here she is with a big ol’ hand carved pink eraser and my i-phone charger on the kitchen table.

Paper arts are where it’s at! Really into tiny books now and always.

Found word poetry is my jam.

Sixty minute art challenge warm up (collage, cube, turquoise).
